Our community café is the heart of the Visitor Centre – a welcoming space to relax, meet friends, and enjoy a hot drink or snack during your visit to Palacerigg Country Park. Run by volunteers, the café helps support the work of Palacerigg Community Trust, with every purchase going back into caring for the park and funding community projects.
Rentable Space
Our spaces at the Visitor Centre are available to hire for community groups, workshops, meetings, and private events. Whether you need a cosy room for a small gathering or a larger space for activities, Palacerigg offers a flexible and affordable venue surrounded by nature. Every booking supports the work of Palacerigg Community Trust, helping us to care for the park and provide opportunities for the community.

I love Palacerigg. It feels like a world away from Cumbernauld itself! It’s got such a wonderful variety of walks and we have encountered lots of different wildlife there. The community trust are doing a great job of regenerating and restoring the park too.
